The June Lake Vision & Latest News

June Lake will be a walkable countryside destination where nature is the thread that weaves us together. It will be a community where businesses, residents, and guests thrive, and authentic connection happens naturally.

The greenway will provide easy, scenic access and connectivity between home, work, and play. We envision a young professional taking a morning jog along the greenway system before work, a student riding her bike to school, or friends enjoying a stroll to the coffee shop.

Connectivity is a common theme in June Lake. Because of this, there must be a whole picture approach to the development. There will only be one or two home builders in Phase 1. They will be required to adhere to strict architectural design guidelines focused on quality construction, materials, landscaping, and how the homes interact with the surrounding neighborhood.

June Lake is continuously evolving and moving forward, making new information quickly outdated. This is a good thing as it means things are moving right along, as they should be.

A few updates & highlights that we can share:

  • Residential builders for Phase 1 are expected to be announced this Spring.
  • The first phase of the retail portion is under initial design and programming. While no announcements are ready to be made, retailers will include local and national shopping brands, restaurants, and entertainment.
  • The project to widen and realign the northern portion of Buckner Lane will begin the Spring.
  • TDOT construction on the I-65 interchange should begin towards the end of this year.
