June Lake continues to transform into a vibrant, mixed-use community, with significant progress made along Buckner Lane and across its residential and commercial areas. From the rapid construction of homes and preparation for new retail spaces, each phase of development is moving forward at an exciting pace. In this update, we’ll move north along Buckner Lane from the June Lake Boulevard/Buckner Lane intersection, highlighting key milestones for the overall site, Pod K, Saddlewalk, and Solstice as June Lake shapes up to become a premier destination for living, working, and leisure.

The I65/June Lake Boulevard interchange that opened back in May has already seen increased traffic, significantly improving residents’ access to the interstate and easing commutes. This key piece of infrastructure marks a major milestone in connecting June Lake to the surrounding region, and its impact is already being felt by those living and working in the area.

Pod K is set to introduce the very first commercial businesses to June Lake, a major step forward in creating a vibrant mixed-use community. The infrastructure and grading work have begun, and soon this area will be home to essential services such as a bank, daycare, medical offices, personal care services, health and fitness providers, and a variety of food and beverage options. These businesses will offer residents both convenience and a wide range of amenities close to home.

The homes at Saddlewalk are selling faster than they can be built. Signature Homes is leading the development of this 400-home community, and as of early October, over 94 homes have been sold and 51 are already occupied. The neighborhood’s rapid growth is a testament to the demand for high-quality homes in this sought-after area. Phase two is well underway, and the neighborhood clubhouse is also progressing, offering future residents a community hub that will add to the neighborhood’s appeal.

Solstice is another exciting residential development at June Lake, consisting of 227 garden-style apartments with 1, 2, and 3-bedroom units. Developed by Southeast Venture, Solstice will soon welcome its first residents, with initial units expected to be delivered in early November. This milestone will add much-needed apartment housing to the area, providing future residents with a range of options for modern, comfortable living.
